arabian.com is run by one person. Using the site means accepting the terms below.
What this site does, and does not do
This is an introduction service. It lists stallions and passes service requests to the studs that stand them. It is not a party to any breeding contract, does not hold money, does not take a commission on a cover, and gives no warranty about any horse, any fee, or any outcome. The contract for a service is between the mare owner and the stud, on their terms.
Records and verification
Pedigrees shown here are checked by hand against the registry of record before they are published, and the source is named where possible. Registries themselves contain errors, and horses are sometimes recorded differently in different countries. Check the official record before you make a breeding decision or part with money.
Listing a stallion
If you list a horse, you confirm that you own him or act for the owner, that the details you give are true, and that you hold the rights to any photograph you upload. Listings are reviewed before they appear and can be removed at any time. You keep ownership of what you upload, and give permission to show it on the site.
Accounts
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts used to send spam, to list horses that are not yours, or to misrepresent a pedigree will be closed.
The site itself
It is being built in public, so parts of it will change or break. It is offered as it is, without a promise that it will always be available.
Content and copyright
The design, writing, and brand belong to the site. Pedigree facts are not owned by anyone. Photographs belong to whoever made them. If something of yours appears here and should not, write and it will come down.
